The Norwich Community Library has two purposes:
  1. to support and enrich the Norwich School curriculum and
  2. to provide for personal interests in self-directed knowledge building and recreational reading for all members of the Norwich community.

On June 26, 2013, Norwich Community Library is proud to offer you best-selling and classic eBooks, audiobooks, music and video available 24/7 from the library’s digital collection, at:


This new service, powered by OverDrive, is free with your library card. To get started enjoying eBooks, audiobooks and more,  contact Candace Perkins, Librarian at, call 478-2235 or come in during open library hours to get set up on the system, receive your library card number, and password. Mission Statement

The mission of the Norwich Community Library is to contribute to the educational achievement of the students of the Norwich School and to serve the community of Norwich.
The library will ensure that the students of the Norwich School are effective users of ideas and information pertaining to curricular and personal learning as well as provide services for the community members.
The library will provide the resources for curriculum support, materials for recreational learning, and instruction in information retrieval and management.
